Dr Louise Bowers gives a pre-conference interview about her workshop on compassion in the Crown Court.
She touches on Therapeutic Jurisprudence, the study of law as a therapeutic agent and seeing what we can do as legal 'actors' to make legal practices less harmful to people who have contact with the legal system.
She explains that the workshop that she and Chris, an expert by experience, will be co-presenting will discuss how we can be more compassionate, the benefits of being more compassionate and how to strike the right balance between being compassionate and remaining clinically objective.
Louise and Chris's workshop is scheduled to take place at 9:00am on Wednesday 15 June.
